Hangman Page Comments on His AEW World Title Victory at All In Texas

As noted before, this past Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event in Arlington, Texas featured Hangman Adam Page defeating Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match to become the new AEW World Champion.

Page recently reflected on Bluesky about his AEW World Championship victory and him not having the words now to do the justice for his title win feeling because he hasn’t slept in four days.

Backstage Update on AEW’s Plans for Winner of Young Bucks vs. Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland Match at All In Texas

This past Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event in Arlington, Texas also featured Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland defeating The Young Bucks. This match featured the stipulation of if the Young Bucks lost, then they would no longer be AEW EVPs while if Ospreay and Strickland lost, then they would not be allowed to challenge for the AEW World title for a full year.

Bryan Alvarez reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that AEW officials only made the decision on who would actually win that match until the last day or two before the event. Alvarez reported that despite the initial stipulation being announced more than two weeks ago, AEW officials went back and forth for a long time for a final decision for their plans for the match.


Kevin Von Erich Contract Signing Status Update

As noted before, The Von Erichs’ Ross & Marshall Von Erich recently announced that their father Kevin had signed a Legends type contract wirh AEW.

The Hollywood Reporter held a recent interview with AEW CEO Tony Khan. One of the topics discussed included Khan confirming that Kevin Von Erich had recently signed a contract for a coaching job with AEW and Ring of Honor.

“Kerry was the first wrestler from the Von Erichs that I saw as a kid when he was called the Texas Tornado. The Von Erichs have a great history. Kevin works with us now (as a coach), and his sons are part of AEW. They’re also champions.”
