As noted before, TNA President Carlos Silva recently teased AJ Styles could be making an appearance at TNA Wrestling’s Slammiversary 2025 event on July 20th in Elmont, New York.
Fightful Select reported that Silva not only didn’t back down from his Styles teases but doubled down on it during a recent interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp. Silva reportedly continued to heavily lean into hinting that Styles would be part of the show during his interview.
Those spoken to within TNA reportedly did not give a definitive answer regarding if Styles would be at the event or not. At least one person spoken to within the company reportedly stated that they believe Styles would be there due tot it would otherwise leave TNA with some egg on their face if they teased Styles and didn’t deliver him.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources within TNA did not confirm if Styles would be making an appearance but those spoken to within WWE stated that there has “absolutely” been talk that Styles will be making an appearance this weekend. Johnson reported that the timing of Silva’s tease is perfect especially if TNA wanted last minute ticket sales for the UBS Arena.
