Omos has been absent from WWE since April of 2024. During his current lengthy abscense, Omos had worked a brief stint for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan this past January before being quickly brought back to WWE.
WrestleVotes reported that their sources stated that WWE officials have recently discussed the possibility of sending Omos to Lucha Libre AAA in Mexico for a similar stint to the one he had earlier this year for NOAH in Japan.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that the idea being to further establish Omos as a true special attraction outside the WWE bubble.
WWE’s acquisition of AAA is currently expected to be finalized by the end of this September.
