Colt Cabana Makes Commentary Appearance & Gets Attacked By Death Riders

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured Colt Cabana making a surprise appearance on commentary.

At the start of the show, Cabana was seen seated in the commentary booth with Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.

Later in the show, the Death Riders’ Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir came out and proceeded to attack Cabana. This led to Cabana getting bloodied and medical staff and officials checking on Cabana after the Death Riders left.

The Death Riders are sending a message to Hangman Adam Page by brutally attacking @ColtCabana!

Colten Gunn Suffers Knee Injury

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured Colten Gunn suffering an apparent knee injury.

Colten suffered the injury during the $200K Four-way Tag Team match betwee Big Bill & Bryan Keith, Cru (Action Andretti & Lio Rush), Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun), and The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn). This injury took place following Big Bill countering one of Colten’s moves and then lifted Gunn up in the air to strike him on the way down. This led to Gunn landing awkwardly on his feet and his knee buckled. Colten then grabbed his knee and removed himself from the ring action resulting in a ringside doctor showing up and checking on Colten. Colten was then helped to the backstage and did not return for the rest of the match.

Current Cards for Next Week’s AEW Dynamite & Collision Shows

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured one new match announced for each of next week’s AEW Dynamite show on July 23rd and Collision show on July 26th at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois.

These new matches were setup following promos, storyline angles, and match card graphics throughout the show.

In regards to Dynamite, this new match announced was a singles match of Hangman Adam Page vs. Wheeler Yuta.
