AJ Styles Comments on His Upcoming TNA Return at Slammiversary 2025
As noted before, TNA Wrestling recently confirmed that AJ Styles will be making a return appearance to the company at tonight’s Slammiversary 2025 event in Elmont, New York.
Styles reflected earlier today on Twitter about his upcoming return appearance to TNA.
“If I had the ability to go back in time, I’d tell myself “You have no idea how far this ride’s about to take you. All the ups, the downs, the doubts—they’re gonna shape you into one of the best in the world. Don’t lose that chip on your shoulder, but learn when to let go of your pride. You’re gonna walk into places you never thought you’d belong… Way better than you could imagine. Stay humble, stay hungry, and trust God’s timing—it’s perfect, even when it doesn’t feel like it. You’re not just phenomenal. You’re built for this.””

Update on TNA’s Talks for New TV Deal
As noted before, TNA President Carlos Silva had stated in a recent interview with JohnWallStreet that TNA Wrestling is currently seeking a new media rights deal for around $10 million per year and the potential of Anthem selling off their sports division if TNA continues to not be profitable as a company.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated that prior to WWE signing a media rights deal with Tubi for their WWE EVOLVE series, TNA had been in talks with FOX regarding a potential media rights deal for them to air Impact! shows live weekly on Tubi. Johnson reported that this deal with FOX was also planned to include live specials airing on FS1. Johnson reported that while it is currently not known how far long those talks were, it was strong enough that TNA officials were budgeting out what their costs needed to be to air the live shows.
Johnson reported that those spoken to within WWE stated that there was a belief that TNA could land a deal with A&E but talks over this potential idea has quieted down a lot over the last few weeks.
Johnson also speculated that Paramount could be interested in media rights deal with TNA if their merger ever happens due to them looking for programming that is cheaper to produce and will bring an audience compared to the recently canceled Stephen Colbert late night talk show.
