As noted before, a new project for a film called “Killing Gawker” based on Hulk Hogan’s legal battle against Gawker Media had been in early development in 2024.
TMZ reported that their sources stated that this Hogan film project has been scrapped.
It was reported that the reason for the project being scrapped was not related to Hogan’s recent passing and instead Affleck and Damon’s production company, Artists Equity, had not worked on it in quite some time. It was also reported that the reason why the project was scrapped is currently not known.
It was also reported that Hogan was not going to be involved with the movie and was not interested. Those spoken to reportedly stated that Hogan would have taken legal action if Affleck and Damon went too far in violating his privacy for their project.
