WWE SmackDown Notes: Psycho Clown & Mr. Iguana Makes Surprise Appearance, Talla Tonga Competes in His SmackDown In-Ring Debut

Psycho Clown & Mr. Iguana Makes Surprise Appearance

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey featured Lucha Libre AAA talents Psycho Clown & Mr. Iguana making a surprise appearance.

Prior to the start of the AAA World Tag Team Championship match, Legado Del Fantasma came out to the ring for Los Garza’s open challenge match for their titles. After some words by Santos Escobar, Mr. Iguana’s music played and him and Psycho Clown came out revealing them being the mystery challengers.

Talla Tonga Competes in His SmackDown In-Ring Debut

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Talla Tonga competing in his in-ring debut match for the SmackDown brand.

Tonga competed in a singles match against Jimmy Uso, which was won by Tonga after getting some help at ringside by Solo Sikoa and the other members of the MFT.

Following the match, Sikoa, Tonga, JC Mateo, and Tonga Loa attacked Uso as the cage that had been suspended in the rafters started to come down. Before the cage could fully lower, Jacob Fatu ran out and engaged in a brawl with Sikoa & the MFTs leading to Sikoa and Tonga escaping through the cage door. This led to Fatu laying out Mateo and Loa as Sikoa and Tonga looked on.
