Triple H Comments on WWE Being Thrilled to Have Brock Lesnar Back
As noted before, this past Sunday’s WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night 2 event featured Brock Lesnar making his surprise return and attacked John Cena.
A recent episode of ESPN’s Get Up show featured WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Levesque’s thoughts about Lesnar’s recent surprise return and what is next for Lesnar in WWE.
“Have you met Brock? Whatever the hell he wants. When you’re Brock Lesnar, you sort of can — when that music hits and you walk down that aisle, doesn’t matter where he is, he sort of does what he wants to do. So we’re thrilled to have The Beast back. You know, we hit him up and said, ‘Time to come home.’ And he was into it, and here we are. A massive, massive moment for our WWE fans, something that they thought they wouldn’t get to see. And making a statement with John Cena. You know, huge — and we’re thrilled to have him back.”

“I told Triple H, ‘I want to lose at SummerSlam.’ No celebrity has ever taken an L. You always put him over. If you don’t put me over, I always have a reason. There is always something lingering. I can pop up anytime.”
