Paul Walter Hauser Makes Guest Commentary Appearance
Saturday’s AEW Collision show at the Berglund Center in Roanoke, Virginia featured actor and Major League Wrestling and indies wrestler Paul Walter Hauser making a guest appearance.
Prior to the start of the show, it was announced that Hauser would be joining the commentary team as a guest commentator for the show. At the start of the show, Tony Schiavone welcomed Hauser to the commentary table for his guest appearance.

Kyle Fletcher Issues Challenge to NJPW for TNT Title Match at Forbidden Door
Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured one new potential match for the card of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
This new potential match is an AEW TNT Championship match of NJPW mystery opponent vs. Kyle Fletcher (c).
This new potential match was setup following Fletcher’s victory over Tomohiro Ishii to retain his TNT Championship on tonight’s show. Following the match, Fletcher talked about this being the start of the greatest ever TNT title reign and issued a challenge to anyone in New Japan to face him for his title at Forbidden Door.

IWGP World Title Match Announced for Forbidden Door 2025
Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured one new match announced for the card of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025, which takes place on August 24th at The O2 Arena in London, England.
This new match announced was an IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match of winner of Hechicero/Nigel McGuinness/Lee Moriarty/Daniel Garcia vs. Zack Sabre Jr. (c).
This match was announced following Tony Schiavone saying he had an important announcement for the card of Forbidden Door and a match card being shown on screen announcing a Four-way match being set for next week’s show to determine the official challenger for Sabre Jr. at the event.
