As noted before, WWE is currently scheduled to be holding a main roster Premium Live Event (PLE) in Indianapolis, Indiana on the same day as AEW’s All Out 2025 event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that WWE officials’ current plans is for the John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar match to headline their upcoming September PLE against AEW’s event.
Meltzer reported that this is the reason why WWE officials decided to not have this match take place at their Clash in Paris event later this month in France. Meltzer also reported that this was also the reason why WWE officials booked Logan Paul to compete against Cena for their Clash in Paris event instead.
