Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard recently signed a new contract with AEW to remain in the company for the foreseeable future.
It was reported that Menard’s contract was originally set to expire around AEW’s All In Texas event but he opted to commit his future to the company instead of testing free agency.
It was also reported that Menard’s new deal is five years in length and will keep him in AEW until the summer of 2030. Those close to the situation reportedly stated that Menard couldn’t be happier about it and was thrilled to stay in the company.
It was also reported that Menard has been a respected and well-liked presence in the AEW locker room.
