Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that WWE currently has plans to hold another Lucha Libre AAA event in the United States by the end of this year.
No other details were given regarding a potential date nor location for this planned event were given.
This would be the first AAA event in the U.S. since this past June’s co-promoted Worlds Collide event with WWE in Inglewood, California.
WWE’s acquisition deal for AAA is currently believed to have become official earlier this month.
