Liv Morgan Dislocated Shoulder Injury & Return Plans Update
As noted before, Liv Morgan has been out of action for WWE since this past June due to a dislocated shoulder injury and surgery.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Morgan was slated for a new medical evaluation this week.
Johnson reported that the current internal hope within WWE is that Morgan will be able to return to action in the beginning of 2026 as long as things remain on schedule for her.
Several AAA Talents Signed WWE Contracts
Several Lucha Libre AAA talents reportedly recently signed official contracts with WWE, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that Microman, La Hiedra, LA Parka, Nino Hamburguesa, El Mesias, and Lady Flammer are all confirmed to have recently signed contracts with WWE. Meltzer reported that WWE has already released new merchandise for all of them.
Meltzer reported that Faby Apache is also confirmed to have recently signed a contract with WWE. Apache’s signing reportedly was first announced by Natalya.
Meltzer reported that he believes that everyone who will be working at AAA’s Triplemania XXXIII event this Saturday in Mexico City is under a contract with WWE since WWE isn’t putting anyone on its platform that can legally walk into AEW.
Cody Rhodes Comments on A Third Match With Roman Reigns Being “Probably A Very Hard Match To Have Happen”
A recent episode of the SI Media with Jimmy Traina podcast featured Cody Rhodes as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Rhodes’ thoughts about the potential of him having a third match with Roman Reigns in the future.
“I’m very happy with what we put out there. I always try to wax poetic about him. Anytime I’ve ever said something a little snarky, I guess it’s been more for entertainment. That’s probably a very hard match to have happen. I could see it being very significant, it happening again. For the fans who really make this all up, for that, you can’t just have two. We split it. That third exists. A lot of times, sometimes matches can go in the file of the greatest matches that never happened. I’m certainly not adverse to it. I don’t know what his outlook on it is. We’re different than we were. Not adverse to it. We’re split. He won one, I won the other.”
