Tony Khan Comments on Idea WWE Will Force AEW To “Close Up Shop”
In recent response to an online troll on Twitter, AEW CEO Tony Khan dismissed the claim that WWE will force AEW to “close up shop.”
This person responded to an initial tweet from Khan who had thanked everyone who watched Saturday’s AEW Collision show. This person stated “Wwe is gonna bring you down and close shop can’t wait” and Khan responded posting a gif of famous actor Patrick Stewart from Star Trek with the text of “That will be the day.”

Darby Allin Comments on He Wanted To Do A Kick Flip Underwater But There Were 15 Sharks Around Him
As noted before, Darby Allin set a new world record for highest ever elevation for a kickflip trick on a skateboard during his climb of Mount Everest. Allin made a guest appearance for Discovery Channel as part of this past July’s Shark Week festivities.
A recent episode of the Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast featured Allin as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Allin’s thoughts about how he had plans to set another world record for lowest elevation for a kickflip trick but was unable to attempt it to due to sharks issues.
“I set the highest elevation kick flip and then I brought my skateboard to the bottom of the ocean to try and set the lowest kick flip. There are 15 sharks swimming around my head. It was so fucking hard. I can’t even describe how hard it was to do a kick flip at the bottom of the ocean.”
Allin also gave his thoughts about how he did not practice for the trick and how he thought it was going to work underwater.
“I have no idea. I thought at the time, ‘I did this on Mount Everest. It’s going to be killer underwater.’ I thought it would float up, I strapped on a piece of a life jacket. I had to pay attention to the kick flip or to the sharks around my head. I did a finger flip. We can say the world’s lowest finger flip.”
