Friday’s WWE SmackDown drew 1,430,000 viewers on USA Network, down from the prior week’s 1,577,000 viewers.
It drew a 0.35 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from the prior week’s 0.48 rating.
In regards to notable sports competition, the NFL Preseason game of Tennessee Titans vs. Atlanta Falcons drew 1,222,000 viewers on NFL Network, the 2025 Little League World Series game of Hawaii vs. Connecticut drew 1,202,000 viewers on ESPN, the MLB game of Seattle Mariners vs. New York Mets or Atlanta Braves vs. Cleveland Guardians drew 199,000 viewers on MLB Network, the Banana Ball World Tour game of The Firefighters vs. Savannah Bananas drew 410,000 viewers on ESPN, and Professional Fighters League World Tournament Finals drew 286,000 viewers on ESPN.
Last year’s SmackDown on August 16, 2024 drew 2,252,000 viewers and a 0.61 rating on FOX. The August 18, 2023 episode drew 2,094,000 viewers on FOX.
