Nigel McGuinness Comments on His Praise of Tony Khan for “Opportunity To Live Out My Dreams”
The Undisputed held a recent interview with AEW commentator Nigel McGuinness. One of the topics discussed included McGuinness’ thoughts about his upcoming match against Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 and his praise of AEW CEO Tony Khan for giving him the opportunity to live out his dreams.
“I’ve dealt with the disappointment, the regret, and the failure. A decade ago, never once did I dream that I’d ever have any sort of opportunity like this. I thought this ship had sailed and my career was over.
If it weren’t for Tony Khan, none of it would have happened. I owe Tony and this company so, so much. This is the opportunity to live out my dreams.
I’m wrestling this respected, world-renowned heavyweight champion. I get to test my wits against the greatest technical wrestler of all time, and it’s not Bryan Danielson. It is Zack Sabre Jr. He is one of the very few handful of guys that made his name in his own style. To reach the levels he has, I’m amazed. He’s the top man in Japan.”

ESPN Removes AEW Section from Their Website
As noted before, WWE announced on Wednesday that their new media rights deal with ESPN to air their WWE PLEs on ESPN’s new streaming service will be starting earlier than originally announced, which will now officially kick off with next month’s Wrestlepalooza event.
Following WWE’s announcement, Fightful’s Andrew Thompson reported that ESPN had recently removed the AEW section from their website. Thompson reported that when clicking on the AEW tab on the website, it now redirects to a “page error” message.

This quickly led to online speculation of ESPN had removed the section in order to appease WWE or something WWE had requested to be done as part of their new partnership deal.
