Lola Vice Wins Shot at NXT Women’s Title at NXT No Mercy 2025

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 event at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts featured Lola Vice defeating Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan in a #1 Contender Triple Threat match for the NXT Women’s Championship.

In a follow-up, it was announced that Vice will be getting her shot at the NXT Women’s Championship at next month’s NXT No Mercy 2025 event.

DarkState Wins NXT Tag Titles at NXT Heatwave 2025

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 show also featured DarkState’s Dion Lennox & Osiris Griffin defeating Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) to become the new NXT Tag Team Championship.

This was DarkState’s first ever NXT Tag Team Championship victory in their WWE NXT careers.

Ash By Elegance Wins TNA Knockouts Title at NXT Heatwave 2025

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 show also featured Ash By Elegance defeating Masha Slamovich and Jacy Jayne in a Triple Threat match to become the new TNA Knockouts World Champion.

This was Ash’s first ever TNA Knockouts World Championship victory in her TNA career.

WWE Speed Men’s & Women’s Titles Moving to NXT Brand

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 event also featured the announcement of the WWE Speed Men’s and Women’s Championships will be officially moving over to the NXT brand.

During the show, NXT GM Ava was seen in her office with interviewer Sarah Schreiber who asked her about the other announcements she has for tonight’s show. Ava responded announcing that the WWE Speed Men’s and Women’s Championships will be coming to the NXT brand. This led to current WWE Speed Women’s Champion Sola Ruca and Zaria showing up. Ava announced that Ruca will be defending her WWE Speed Women’s title at No Mercy and her opponent will be determined from the winner of a tournament that will be starting on September 2nd. Ava also announced that this tournament will feature one competitor from RAW or SmackDown, one from NXT, one from TNA, and one from Lucha Libre AAA.

Two New Matches Set for NXT No Mercy 2025

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 event also featured two new matches announced for the card of NXT No Mercy 2025, which takes place on September 27th at the War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The first new match announced was a NXT Women’s Championship match of Lola Vice vs. Jacy Jayne (c).

The second new match announced was a WWE Speed Women’s Championship match of winner of #1 Contender tournament vs. Sol Ruca (c).
