As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, passed away this past July at the age of 71 due to a heart attack. Hogan is currently believed to have been the victim of medical malpractice over issues related to a recent surgery that resulted in his phrenic nerve being “severed.”
The Daily Mail reported that Hogan’s widow Sky Daily is currently planning to file a lawsuit against “at least” one of Hogan’s doctors over claims of medical malpractice that she believes led to his death this past July.
It was reported that Daily’s lawsuit is currently expected to be centered around Hogan’s neck surgery this past May over his phrenic nerve being severed.
In an interview with the outlet, Daily stated that she believes that Hogan’s phrenic nerve was “compromised” during the procedure leaving him short of breath in the months leading up to his passing. This nerve controls the ability to breathe.
The Clearwater Police Department investigation into Hogan’s death is still on-going as of Thursday.
