As noted before, AEW made its official launch on Warner Bros Discovery’s HBO MAX streaming service this past January. As part of AEW’s new media rights deal with WBD, AEW pay-per-view events are expected to air live on the service at some point.
Mat Men Pro Wrestling and the Wrestling Observer’s Andrew Zarian reported that his sources stated that an official announcement regarding the availability of live AEW PPVs on HBO MAX is expected to be made soon.
Zarian reported that this announcement is currently expected to take pace in the coming weeks.
In a response to a fan on Twitter, Zarian stated that it is currently not known if AEW PPVs will air live just in the United States or also air live internationally on HBO MAX.
No other details were given regarding a potential date nor which AEW PPV would debut live on the service.
