Mike Santana & Steve Maclin vs. Trick Williams & A.J. Francis

Hannifan on commentary called Trick Williams being the TNA World Champion “a nightmare” which the crowd was chanting along with William’s “Whoop That Trick!” Santana clotheslined Francis to the floor, and Maclin followed sending Williams to the floor. Santana then hit a flip tope on both his opponents on the floor.

Back in the ring, Santana hit a tornado DDT for a near fall. Williams got the tag and supplied Santana for a near fall. The heels cut off Santana from his corner and worked him over in theirs. Williams wore down Santana with a front face lock. When Francis tried for a back suplex, Santana flipped over him and got the tag to Maclin, who took control.

Maclin dropped Francis with an Olympic Slam. Francis ran into a boot. But after a distracting from Williams, Francis slammed Maclin to take control. Maclin took a hard whip into the corner, and Francis hit him with an avalanche. Francis hit a running knee in the corner and flipped himself over the top rope. Williams hit a dropkick and Francis dropped an elbow on Maclin for a near fall.

Francis ran into a booth from Maclin, and Maclin followed up with a middle rope dropkick. Santana and Williams tagged in, and Santana took control with a flying lariat. Santana hit an enziguri, but Williams came back with pump kick. Santana hit a rolling cutter for a near fall. Santana ducked a leg lariat, and Williams dove into a death valley driver. Francis broke up the pin attempt, and all four guys were brawling in the ring. Maclin and Francis tumbuled to the floor. Williams went for the Trick Shot, but Santana caught him with a rollup out of nowhere and got the pinfall.

Winner: Mike Santana & Steve Maclin via Pinfall.

Backstage: Cedric Alexander, Leon Slater

In the back, Cedric Alexander was sure that with all Leon Slater has learned about the Hardys, they can be the TNA tag team champions, but Slater isn’t quite as sure about it.

Video: Myron Reed, Eric Young, Zachary Wentz

Last week on Impact, Eric Young reminded Myron Reed he was the expendable member of the Rascalz, which is how we got here.

Eric Young vs. Myron Reed

Reed dodged a clothesline and caught Young with an enziguri. Reed hit Young with a Lung Blower that sent Young to the floor. Reed followed him out with a plancha. Reed consistently used his speed and agility to throw oYoung off his game, until Young viciously raked his eyes. Young hit a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. While the match was going on, a man in a ski mask was holding up a sign that said “The Cleanse is Coming.” Young cut Reed down with an elbow. Reed countered a suplex attempt with a Stundog Millionaire. Young went for a moonsault but missed. Reed hit a superkick. Young got hung up in the ropes, and Reed came off the top with a legdrop for a near fall. Young hit a powerslam for a near fall. Young then threatened to hit the ref, which brought Wentz up onto the apron. The referee tried to get Wentz off the apron, which allowed Young to hit a low blow. Young finished off Reed with a piledriver.

Winner: Eric Young via Pinfall.

Backstage: Dani Luna

Dani Luna is done being quiet and is done being passed by.

Video: NXT, Xia Brookside

Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx) vs. The IInspiration (Jessica McKay & Cassie Lee)

Fatal Influence double-teamed Lee for most of the match. McKay got the tag and took the fight to both members of Fatal Influence. Fatal Influence got a near fall off a double team Pele Kick. All four women brawled in the ring, and in a well coordinated spot, The IInspiration hit both their opponents with super kicks. Lee hit a spinning heel kick on Henley to send her to the floor. The IInspiration hit their finisher (the IIdolizer) on Nyx to get the pinfall.

Winner: The IInspiration via Pinfall.

In-Ring: Ryan Nemeth, Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards

Ryan Nemeth came out and announced that Nic Nemeth will be returning next week. He was interrupted by Eddie and Alicia Edwards, which lead to this match.

Ryan Nemeth vs. Eddie Edwards

Edwards chopped Nemeth a lot. Nemeth taunted Alicia Edwards and taunted the crowd, but didn’t offer much in the way of offense. Nemeth dodged a charge, which sent Edwards shoulder-first into the corner. Nemeth hit a hangman’s neckbreaker for two. He taunted Alicia Edwards some more, and walked into a clothesline from Edwards. Edwards went for a package stunner, but Nemeth escaped by raking the eyes. Edwards dropped Nemeth with a double-underhook suplex, and finished him off with a “Boston Knee Party” (running knee) and got the pinfall.

Backstage: Indi Hartwell, Santino Marella, Dani Luna

Gia Miller checked in with Indi Hartwell, who won’t back down from Dani Luna. Santino Marella interrupted to give Hartwell a match with Jody Threat. Luna interrupted that,  and Hartwell insisted Marella add Luna to the match. So it’s Luna v. Threat v. Hartwell next week to crown a new #1 contender for the Knockouts title.

Tasha Steelz vs. Mara Sadé

Sadé got a near fall after a knee to the head. Jason Hotch tripped up Sadé to give Steelz the edge. Steelz caught Sadé with a gamengiri in the corner. Sadé powered out of a chinlock and caught Steelz with a forearm. Sadé caught Steelz with a hip attack and a slingblade. Sadé hit a middle rope dropkick for a near fall.  Sadé went to the top for a moonsault, but the members of Order 4 around ringside distracted her. Steelz took Sadé down with a Russian leg sweep from the middle rope. Sadé hit her finisher (which looks like a botched move) and Jason Hotch and John Skyler jumped up on the again to distract her. Sadé hit Skyler with a dive on the floor, then got into a stare down with Agent Zero. Steelz caught Sadé coming back into the ring with a cutter and got the pinfall with her feet on the ropes for leverage.

Winner: Tasha Steelz via Pinfall.

After the match, Hotch and Skyler held Sadé open for Agent Zero to floor her with a clothesline. The Hardys came out late to chase Order 4 away and they clotheslined Zero to the floor. They’re trying to portray Agent Zero as this giant, but he isn’t even bigger than the Hardys.

TNA World Tag Team Championship
Cedric Alexander & Leon Slater vs. The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) (c)

Matt Hardy tweaked his knee giving and elbow drop, but Slater didn’t immediately attack it, which gave Matt the edge. Matt hit a side effect and got the tag to Jeff. Jeff went for a swanton, but Alexander pulled Jeff out of the way. Alexander wore Jeff down with a bearhug on the mat, then drove elbows into his injured ribs. Alexander tried for the Lumbar Check, but Jeff escaped and Cedric walked into a Twist of Fate from Matt. Jeff hit the Swanton bomb on Alexander and got the pinfall.

Winner: The Hardys via Pinfall to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championship.

This match was the best thing on the show, especially the last few minutes when things got really good. After the match, both teams hugged it out like good babyfaces.

In-Ring: Trick Williams, Santino Marella

Trick Williams and his lawyer. Williams and his lawyer came back to the ring. I was hoping his lawyer would be Joe Park, but it’s just some guy named Michael O’Shea. Williams claimed assault and declared the ring a crime scene. The lawyer fed Williams lines about how it was a unsafe working environment and that he only has to defend the title every 50 days. Santino Marella came out to do the math and figured out that Bound for Glory is two days past the 50 day deadline. The lawyer interjected before Marella could make the match official, so Marella laid the lawyer out with the Cobra to end the show.
