Piper Niven Pulled from Friday’s WWE SmackDown Show

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the LDLC Arena in Décines-Charpieu, France featured one change made to the advertised card of the show.

Prior to the start of the show, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis announced that Piper Niven was pulled from her scheduled match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Aldis stated that Chelsea Green would be replacing Niven as Alba Fyre’s partner against Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair for the titles on the show.

During the show, Green & Fyre attacked Bliss & Flair during their entrance for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles match resulting in Flair suffering an “injury” and being carried to the back.
