All Japan Pro Wrestling wrestler Taishin Nagao passed away on Sunday at the age of 21.
Nagao’s passing was first announced by AJPW who stated that Nagao had passed away due to the injuries he had suffered from a bus accident this past May.
Prior to his passing, Nagao was involved in an incident where he was struck by a bus and had suffered abdominal compression resulting in traumatic shock. Nagao had been in the intensive care unit and remained in critical condition until his passing.
Nagao’s professional wrestling career spanned from October of 2024 to May of 2025. Nagao was a graduate of the All Japan Dojo.
We regret to inform you that our rostered wrestler, Taishin Nagao, who was involved in an incident with a tour bus on May 31 and had been receiving treatment in the intensive care unit for traumatic shock caused by abdominal compression, passed away today, September 7, at the hospital where he had been admitted. He was 21.
Regarding the cause of death, his remains are with the police for investigation. We will share an update as soon as details are confirmed.
