As noted before, this past August’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 event in London, England featured Wardlow making his surprise return from a knee injury and filming commitments for the American Gladiator reboot series. During the show, Wardlow came out and attacked Swerve Strickland and was revealed as the newest member of the Don Callis Family.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources within AEW stated that they are currently worried that Wardlow might have recently suffered a potential torn pectoral injury. Those spoken to reportedly stated that they are worried Wardlow will be out of action for some time again after he only just recently came back.
Sapp reported that the current belief is Wardlow might have suffered the injury during his return angle at AEW’s Forbidden Door 2025 event but this is something he has yet to confirm from his sources.
