As noted before, WWE NXT talent Jazmyn Nyx, real name Jade Gentile, will be leaving the company once her current contract expires. Nyx later revealed that she was leaving the company due their offer for a new three-year deal did not make financial sense for her.
In a recent response to a fan on her post on Instagram, Nyx denied that she was making at least $80,000 per year in WWE during her time in the company. This fan stated “they get $80k-$150k how is that not cutting it financially?!” and Nyx responded back stating “if I was making that, that would be great!“
In a recent Q&A video on Snapchat, Nyx explained her reason for her decision to leave WWE.
“Ultimately it came down to the work I was putting in and being booked for was not accurate with the amount I was being offered. And no I was not making 6 figures but that is the goal.
Not specifically my injuries, but the wear and tear that the job had on my body was one of the reasons. I was wrestling for both TNA and NXT every Tuesday and on the weekends without a day off.”
