Saturday’s taped Fury Road 2025 event for Major League Pro Wrestling featured MLW on-screen authority figure Cesar Duran taking a shot at WWE’s current working relationship with the government of Saudi Arabia.
This event was originally taped on September 9th at the NYTEX Sports Centre in North Richland Hills, Texas.
During the show, Duran came out to the stage with Jesus Rodriguez and Salina De La Renta. During his promo addressing the crowd and thanking them for the sell-out attendance, Duran took at shot at WWE for taking “blood money” over their recent announcement of WrestleMania 43 taking place in Saudi Arabia without mentioning the company by name.
“You have sold us out! You once again did it! You love your Major League Wrestling and Major League Wrestling loves you! We have a legacy in the making tonight. And while some other company packed up their big show and shipped up to Saudi Arabia to take that blood money, we come here with the real deal in Texas.”
"Major League Wrestling loves you!"
