As noted before, Saturday’s AEW Collision show in Huntington, West Virginia featured Hologram suffering a storyline injury at the hands of Kyle Fletcher. AEW CEO Tony Khan announced afterwards that Hologram will likely be out for the rest of 2025 due to the injuries he had sustained from Flecther’s attack.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that his sources stated that Hologram had suffered a knee injury during this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Meltzer reported that it was the same knee injury that had kept him out of action last time for AEW. Meltzer also reported that the results of medical tests revealed that it was worse than expected and Hologram will be out of action for the remainder of this year. The Fletcher attack angle on Saturday’s AEW Collision show reportedly was AEW officials way of writing out Hologram for the foreseeable future.
In regards to Hologram’s storyline program with El Clon that has just started, Meltzer speculated that El Clon might likely be put on ice until Hologram returns.
