Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Announces REENA Rumble Event in Toronto This October

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling announced that they will be holding an event called REENA Rumble on October 27th at the New Age Experience Center in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

It was also announced that this upcoming event will benefit REENA, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

TORONTO, ON – September 25, 2025 – MAPLE LEAF PRO Wrestling (MLP) will storm into the New Age Experience Center, Toronto, on Monday, October 27, 2025, for REENA RUMBLE, a blockbuster night of action featuring some of the biggest names in pro wrestling.
The loaded card will benefit REENA, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The show is sponsored by Tribute Communities.
WWE legends Matt Hardy and Carlito, AEW star Colt Cabana, lucha sensation Microman, and reigning MLP Women’s Canadian Champion Gisele Shaw have already been confirmed for what will be a stacked supercard of MLP action in the historical wrestling stronghold of Toronto.
“Toronto has always been one of the premier cities in the world for professional wrestling, and REENA RUMBLE is going to continue that proud tradition,” said Scott D’Amore, President of MAPLE LEAF PRO. “But just as important, this event raises vital funds for a great cause in Reena – supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and ensuring they have the resources, dignity, and opportunities they deserve.”

Kevin Nash Provides Update on His Heart Procedure

As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash underwent a successful procedure last week to correct an irregular heartbeat.

A recent episode of the Kliq This podcast featured WWE Hall of Famer and co-host Nash providing an update on the heart procedure he had recently underwent.

“So I wake up. He’s smiling at me. They’re happy. I said, okay, you know, we’ll get your wife. She came in and said, ‘you want something to drink?’ I said, ‘yeah.’ And my go-to after-surgery drink is always cranberry juice, because I don’t ever drink anything like that. So that’s why, that’s like, you know, nice and tart, kind of cleans your mouth out. So I had my cranberry juice, and then they were like, ‘well, you can get up whenever you feel like it.’ I just sat around because I already had my shoes on. She untied the back of my thing. I pulled it off, put my T-shirt on, and was in the car, I think, total time until we hit the IHOP was under an hour. Yeah, 53 (minutes). And then I get home.”

Braun Strowman in Talks for Jason Voorhees Role in Friday The 13th Revival Film

The Collider held a recent interview with former WWE talent Braun Strowman. One of the topics discussed included Strowman revealing that he has been in talks to potentially portray the role of iconic horror villain Jason Voorhees in a new Friday The 13th revival film.

“There may be some talks about it with people that I know and my agency. If we could ever get everybody to get back on the same page and allow the things to work, I might be the next Voorhees.”
