Xia Brookside Missed TNA Bound For Glory 2025 Due to Illness

Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts featured TNA commentator Tom Phillips announcing that Xia Brookside was pulled from the show due to her currently dealing with an undisclosed illness.

Brookside had been scheduled to compete in the 20-Person Call Your Shot Gauntlet match at the show.

Team 3D Hang Up Their Boots & Retires at TNA Bound For Glory 2025

Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event also featured Team 3D’s Bully Ray & Devon hanging up their boots and retiring from their in-ring wrestling careers.

Following The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) victory over Team 3D in a Tables match to retain the TNA World Tag Team and WWE NXT Tag Team Championships, The Hardys helped up Bully Ray and waited for D-Von to get back into the ring. The two teams showed a sign of respect for each other for their final match against each other in their wrestling careers. Before the Hardys could leave, Bully Ray stopped them and him and D-Von proceeded to take off their boots and handed them to the Hardys as a gift of appreciation and signaling they were retiring from wrestling. Team 3D then left the ring to give the spotlight to The Hardys for their victory and celebrated one last time with the fans who gave them a loud ovation.

TNA Genesis 2026 Announced for Dallas

Sunday’s TNA Bound for Glory 2025 event also featured the announcement of next year’s Genesis event will be taking place in January of 2026 in Dallas, Texas.

No venue nor exact date was given for this upcoming event.

Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event also featured the announcement of this week’s TNA Impact! show on October 16th on AXS TV and Sportsnet 360 will be an After The Glory special featuring interviews and a recap of the action from Bound For Glory 2025.
