The Rock Says He Has A “Tiny Bit Of Influence” on John Cena’s Final Opponent
As noted before, John Cena’s final match for his wrestling career will be taking place at WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show on December 13th in Washington, D.C.
A recent episode of the New Heights podcast featured Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Johnson revealing that he has a “tiny bit of influence” for the booking of John Cena’s final opponent in WWE but feels that the final decision should be up to Cena and nobody else.
” You know, I have a tiny bit of influence in the booking of it, but it really is, it’s whoever John wants, whoever he wants, that should be your answer. Really what it comes down to. It’s not me, Nick Khan, or Triple H. That guy’s earned it, and you know what, the best part about John is, he comes as advertised so who you think he is, that’s who he is, and he’s a good dude, and I love that guy.”

Summer Sorrell Confirms WWE Release & Says She Struggled With Ongoing Injury
As noted before, WWE LFG and WWE EVOLVE talent Summer Sorrell, real name Karyn Best, was released from WWE this past Friday as part of a larger batch of talent releases.
Sorrell provided an update earlier today on Instagram confirming her release from WWE. Sorrell also stated that she has been dealing with an ongoing injury throughout the majority of her time in WWE.
“It is hard to find the right words to express what wrestling means to me. I have developed a passion and love for this business that is unlike anything I have felt before.
I have loved every second. From long, stressful days filming, to challenging days in the ring, to many hours of rehab. Not a moment went by where I didn’t feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
The reality is that I struggled with the same ongoing injury during a majority of my time at the performance center. This held me back from ever being able to show my true potential in the ring.
Knowing that I only got the opportunity to show you a small fraction of what I am capable of is what is hurting me the most.
But if that was only a fraction, imagine what happens when I’m finally at a hundred percent… the story doesn’t end here — it finally gets interesting.”
