Aaron Wolf vs. EVIL and Saya Kamitani vs. Mystery Opponent Matches Set for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced two new matches for the card of Wrestle Kingdom 20, which takes place on January 4, 2025 at the Tokyo, Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

The first new match announced was a singles match of Aaron Wolf vs. EVIL.

This new match was setup following Monday’s King of Pro Wrestling 2025 event that featured EVIL defeating Boltin Oleg for the NEVER Openweight Championship and Wolf making a surprise appearance to save Oleg from a post-match attack by the HOUSE OF TORTURE. This led to Wolf issuing a challenge backstage to EVIL for a match at Wrestle Kingdom 20 and EVIL accepting.

The second new match announced was a singles match of mystery opponent vs. World of Stardom and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Saya Kamitani.

This new match was setup following NJPW’s press conference on Tuesday that featured Kamitani announcing that she would be competing at the event.
