The September 26th episode of WWE SmackDown in Orlando, Florida featured Jacob Fatu making his surprise return to SmackDown after being absent since this past August.
BodySlam.net reported that their sources stated that Fatu is currently dealing with a non-wrestling-related injury.
No other details were given regarding the nature nor severity of the injury beyond this reportedly could possibly keep Fatu out of action “well into 2026.”
The status of Fatu’s scheduled singles match against Drew McIntyre at this Friday’s SmackDown show in San Jose, California is currently not known.
