Amazon Prime Issuing Refunds for AEW WrestleDream 2025 Streaming Issues

As noted before, AEW’s WrestleDream 2025 event earlier this month in St. Louis, Missouri was impacted by streaming related issues affecting the show for those who had purchased the event on Comcast and Amazon Prime.

Amazon Prime issued an official notice on Wednesday stating that they are issuing refunds to those who had purchased the event and encountered technical issues affecting their ability to watch the event on the service.

“We understand that you recently had issues watching the AEW Wrestle Dream Pay-Per-View event through Prime Video. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced throughout the evening and want to make things right.

We have applied a full refund for the event to your account, which will be applied back to the original payment method in 5-7 business days. If you previously requested a refund, your refund has already been processed. Refunds usually go through within 5 to 7 business days and you will see this amount credited on your next statement. Please note, this does not include processing time by your bank.

We place a high value on our relationships with customers and recognize you have multiple options when choosing your PPV provider. We thank you for purchasing through Prime Video.”

Real1 (Enzo Amore) Says He Reached Out to AEW But “They Had No Interest”

A recent episode of the No Contest Wrestling podcast featured Real1, former Enzo Amore in WWE, as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Real1’s thoughts about how he had contacted AEW but they had no interest in him potentially joining the company.

“AEW was something that I considered. I reached out. They had no interest. I’m at a point where, if it’s fuck me, it’s fuck you. What do I care? What are you going to do, cancel me? What do I care? I have nothing to lose, bro. I’ve already lost everything. I’ve been dragged through the mud. When you’re treated like dirt, they stick like mud. You treat me a certain way, I’ll treat you back. I don’t have any gripe with the business because I’m in such a good place. I’m solid right now.”

Kota Ibushi Broken Femur Injury & Surgery Status Update

As noted before, Kota Ibushi has been out of action for AEW since earlier this month due to a broken femur injury and surgery.

Ibushi provided an update on Wednesday on Instagram stating that he had his last inspection and removal of medical staples from his leg. Ibushi also stated that he has been getting his body back in full swing and has already been doing some training for his in-ring return in two years.

“Ok last inspection today! And up to my waist I pulled out 42 medical staples! Now I can go home! It was nice until, but well reality is reality. Femur fracture and personal life will be fine in 8-12 months. From there, I’ve gotten my body back in full swing and putting in ring practice and so on, I’d better see it for 2 years Pretty unexpected but that was said for the beginning and I’m only day 18 post op!

Meeting with AEW doctor at the hospital today for the first time in a long time since post op. Are you already squatting with weights the moment we meet!? I didn’t do it! I didn’t know what I was talking about, but I thought it was a standing and sitting video, so I showed it. Well that was a little early, but normal. I’m so relieved, I heard you’re doing squats and lunges with weights.

You can’t and won’t do that with a fractured femur. I thought this kind of story would grow up quickly, and at the same time I learned how scared the internet was.”
