Chelsea Green Comments on Her Pairing with Ethan Page in NXT & Trying To Get Him To The Main Roster
A recent episode of the Gabby AF podcast featured Chelsea Green as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Green’s thoughts about her recent pairing and work with “All Ego” Ethan Page in WWE’s NXT brand and how she has been trying to get Page called up to the main roster.
“I had never met this man in my life. I had always heard about Ethan Page, we’re Canadian, we always know about people on the indie scene. I always knew about him — I don’t wanna say he was coming up at the same time as me because he was on the indies for so much longer than me, he’s been wrestling for like 20 years. As he was seeing his rise, so was I. Funny enough, we never wrestled together. We were never on the same shows, we never crossed paths and because I preached about going home and doing something other than wrestling, I didn’t really know him. I didn’t do my research. They called me and went, ‘Hey, you’re going to come into NXT next week.’ I was like, ‘Sure, say less.’ As I was on my way in, I was like, ‘But what am I doing?’ I thought maybe I had a match and then, ‘Oh, you’re actually coming out to Ethan Page’s promo.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, okay, cool.’ I did not think anything of it and then I was backstage and he walked out to start talking — we really didn’t interact before that. We had a quick rehearsal but not even really getting know each other, we were kind awkward. When you’re two women, that’s one thing trying to figure out your dynamic, that’s already weird when you don’t look alike or have the same character. But now, a man and a woman, that’s different because there are so many things going on that you need to figure out. Usually you would have time or your partners with that person, like you’re literally spouses or something, right? But we had no connection. He walks out and he starts talking and I’m like, ‘Holy shit. Is he — he’s me.’ I was just so caught off guard. I get in the ring and I’m talking and out of my peripherals, I can feel his facial expressions, I can feel his energy. He leans over like this and I’m like, ‘He’s perfect.’ He’s exactly what we’ve been missing that we didn’t even know we’ve been missing. After that promo, I think we both immediately knew that this was something. We just continued to build and learn that we have the same goals in mind and the same work ethic and drive. I would text him like, ‘Hey, do you mind if I pitch you for this, do you mind if we meet up and do this video, do you mind if we do a TikTok, is that weird?’ You have to learn each other’s boundaries and it’s just different with women, it is. At the end of the day, it wasn’t. It’s been way better than I could’ve imagined. I’ve been so stuck on trying to get him to the main roster because I can’t unsee this duo and this group now with the girls too.”
Green also gave her thoughts about her past pairing with her husband Matt Cardona in TNA Wrestling and the indies and why that was difficult for a variety of reasons.
“I think there’s something special about seeing two totally different performers come together and manage to work so in sync and so in unison and so well together. I just never thought that would happen because I had already done that with my husband. It was hard with my husband. In fact, it was harder with my husband than it was with Ethan because you have to go home to your husband at night. You’re already speaking to each other the way you would at home and you have to relearn how to speak to each other at work. Matt and I, we had never worked together when we were stuck together. For Slammiversary, we had to learn in that moment how to talk to each other because the way we talk to each other at home is not the same way we talk to co-workers. The way I talk to Ethan is the way I talk to a co-worker. He’s a friend, I would talk to him the same way I’d be speaking to Maxxine.”

Scott Steiner Comments on Being Open To Working With Bron Breakker On-Screen in WWE
A recent Geek’d Con 2025 event featured a panel with WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Steiner’s thoughts about him being open to the idea of working with his nephew Bron Breakker on-screen in WWE.
“I mean, I would definitely help them all if that’s what they, if they wanted. I mean, I haven’t thought about it, but if they did think that I could do something with them, yeah, I’d definitely go back and help them out. It would be great.”
Steiner also gave his thoughts about the first advice he gave to Breakker was for him to not pursue a career in professional wrestling at the time.
“The first advice I gave him was don’t get into wrestling. But that was before AEW started up. So it’s actually- it’s always better to have two companies. Otherwise, it’s a monopoly and it’s not good for the wrestlers. So, but no man he’s skyrocketed he just picked up everything so fast, mainly because you know, when he was little, 10, 11 years old, he’d always watch watch my stuff. Then he’d ride his bike over to my house and do my interview. So I think that’s one of the reasons why he’s ahead of the game right now. But, yeah, I just, when he calls for advice or, you know, he’ll do something wrong, like I’ll, you know, give him a call, try to help him out.”

Frazer reflected earlier today on Twitter about his match with Dragunov. Frazer stated “Me and Ilja Dragunov had a match back on NXT in 2023… it left a really bitter taste in my mouth. Bell to bell, it barely lasted 5 minutes. Last night, I got that rematch I’d been dying to have for the past two years. We went to war for the United States Championship on Smackdown. I didn’t get the win, but it really felt like vindication for that night.“
In a recent interview with the Keepin It 100 with Konnan & Disco podcast, Killer Kross, former Karrion Kross in WWE, gave his thoughts about the fan response over WWE having Zelina Vega and Aleister Black recently be paired together and it being similar to how him and Scarlett were presented as a couple in the company. Kross stated “I try to keep it classy and not jump into the divisive subjects. I can’t tell people how to feel about what they’re seeing and what they want to say. If you’re not tone deaf and you’re paying attention to everyone in the world, people are fucking tired of being told how to feel about what they see and hear. I don’t want to be that guy to tell people how they should feel about what they’re watching. I’m sick of it. I stopped watching a lot of opinion shows because I have a brain and I can think and see. I don’t want to be told what to think and see. So, I won’t do that because I’d be a hypocrite. This is what I will say: Scarlett and I are very flattered that we are still a subject of conversation online and among wrestling fans. We’re not in the biggest show on the planet. So, when this stuff comes up, we’re flattered. We’re flattered to still be in the conversations. You never really know if that’s the performers doing that or if that is something they are being asked to do. I can’t throw shade.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
In a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, co-host Matt Hardy gave his thoughts about The Hardys’ future with WWE. Hardy stated ““I think in a perfect world, to optimize stuff, I would like to see myself and Jeff (Hardy) spend a little more time with TNA, and I would like to see this partnership grow a little bit because I think WWE looks at us as legacy acts. We were WWE-born and bred, and maybe we do stick our heads back in NXT, do another little run there. Maybe we stick our heads into a Raw, do a small run there. Maybe we stick our heads into SmackDown and do a small run there. I definitely think there is a lot of interesting, exciting stuff that can be done, especially if we are used as novelty acts. I think that’s where Jeff and I are at the best, if doing something for WWE. If we come in like a novelty act, and it’s not like we’re gonna be there and we’re booking all the way from WrestleMania 44 to 45, brother. We’re gonna do a solid year on TV, whatever. I think when we come in and we have a short, explosive little run, I think that’s where we’re used in our most optimal way. So we’ll see. It’s pro wrestling and never say never. Anything could happen in pro wrestling in 2026. Anything could happen and we’ll see.” Hardy also gave his thoughts about him being interested in doing a Hardys vs. Wyatt Sicks feud involving The Broken Hardys in WWE. Hardy stated “Probably anyone that we have not worked with. And there’s a few. I mean, we’ve said that before. We would love to do a Broken Matt/Brother Nero with the Wyatt Sicks. Just in some way. In some kind of capacity. That would be very fun to do.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
