Stardom announced one new match for the card of NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 20 event, which takes place on January 4, 2026 at the Tokyo Dom in Tokyo, Japan.
This new match announced was a IWGP Women’s Championship and NJPW Strong Women’s Championship, Title vs. Title match of Syuri (IWGP Women) vs. Saya Kamitani (NJPW Strong Women).
This new match was setup following Kamitani defeating Momo Watanabe at Stardim’s Crimson Night event on Monday in Tokyo, Japan. Following the match, Syuri came out to the ring to confront Kamitani and issued a challenge to be Kamitani’s opponent at Wrestle Kingdom 20 leading to both of their titles being on the line for the match.
