Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI Pulled from 11/15 wXw Event in Germany Update – Tetsuya Naito’s UNPASO Inc. Company Reportedly Facing Bankruptcy for Reason for LTJ’s Booking Cancellation

As noted before, Los Tranquilos de Japon (Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI) were pulled from this past Saturday’s 25th Anniversary Tour event for Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) in Limbach-Oberfrohna, Germany due to “unavoidable circumstances.”

Tokyo Sports reported that Naito’s UNPASO Inc. company is currently facing bankruptcy.

It was reported that there were some incidents caused by someone who worked for the company that ended up causing the company to be facing bankruptcy issues. It was also reported that Naito is currently expected to restart things alongside BUSHI and other staff members at a new company.

In regards to Naito and BUSHI’s cancelled appearance for wXw, those spoken to reportedly stated that this employee had provided inaccurate visa information to wXw. It was reported that Naito and BUSHI’s team cancelled the trip to Germany in order to maintain the safety of both of them.

This same employee reportedly was involved in multiple instances of this type of incident and Naito and BUSHI could no longer work as freelancers under the system they were in as a result.

It was reported that Naito’s UNPASO Inc. will close at the end of this month as a form of liquidation. This employee in question reportedly was heavily involved in the creation of the company and has had their contract with UNPASO terminated.

Naito and BUSHI reportedly are still scheduled to travel to Singapore for a booking for Singapore Pro Wrestling’s event on November 28th.

In an official statement to Tokyo Sports, Naito stated:

“First and foremost, I would like to apologize to everyone involved with wXw, and to all those who were looking forward to this match in Germany. I was looking forward to my first match in three weeks and stepping back into the wXw ring, so I’m personally very disappointed… But I look forward to the day I can compete in front of everyone again, and I hope you’ll look forward to that day too.

I apologize to our fans for causing concern and inconvenience due to an internal company issue. I promise we will work together under the new management to deliver an L.T.J. (Los Tranquilos de Japon) that surpasses anything we’ve done before.

I’m sure I’ve caused many fans to worry, asking, ‘Naito, are you okay?’ And I may have taken a few steps back over the past year, but I want to show everyone through professional wrestling that I can get back up and turn things around. That’s my biggest motivation right now.”
