Orange Cassidy Comments on Steve Richards’ Comments About Logan Paul Being Better Than Everybody in AEW

As noted before, former WWE and ECW wrestler Stevie Richards recently made comments praising Logan Paul’s wrestling skills and claimed that Paul was “better than everybody in AEW” and “better than 98% of the WWE roster as well.” Kyle Fletcher recently responded to Richards’ comments about AEW’s roster saying that his opinion was “bullshit” and his belief Richards only did it to get clicks on his YouTube video and channel.

Adrian Hernandez held a recent interview with Orange Cassidy. One of the topics discussed included Cassidy’s thoughts about Richards’ recent comments about Paul being better than everybody on AEW’s roster in the ring.

“No. No, absolutely not. They’re saying that Logan Paul’s better than the entire AEW roster? I think Logan Paul is good. I think he’s doing very well for his limited experience and stuff. You get angry at people like that that just go in and do it and make it look great effortlessly, but he’s not better than the AEW roster.”

Wheeler Yuta Comments on Marina Shafir Being One of Hardest Workers in AEW

Fightful held a recent interview with Wheeler Yuta. One of the topics discussed included Yuta’s thoughts about fellow Death Rider member Marina Shafir’s development growth in AEW and his belief that she is one of the hardest workers in AEW.

“Watching Marina’s growth has been like incredible. She is probably one of, if not the hardest worker, I would say in AEW. She’s still out busting her butt on the independents every time. She’s the one texting the Death Riders group chat like, ‘Hey, when are we going to the building? When are we going to go get some work in?’ She’s always there. She’s shadow boxing, jumping rope. She’s rolling around in the ring, picking people’s brains at ringsides. She’s always incredibly determined to get better. I’m so happy that people can finally see it. She’s been putting in this work for so long that to see it really come to fruition has been awesome. Like watching her just absolutely shine in the women’s Blood & Guts match was incredible. She’s obviously been such a commanding presence the whole time in the death riders, but now that she’s wrestling more and getting those opportunities too, it’s been great. We had such a fun time in that tornado tag match against Statlander and Darby and just seeing her now just go off on her own and blossom has been great.”

Tony Khan Comments on AEW’s Interest in Killer Kross

A recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show featured AEW CEO Tony Khan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts about if he has spoken to Killer Kross, former Karrion Kross in WWE.

“I have not spoken to him in many years.”

In response to comments from host Ariel Helwani about Kross being a layup signing for AEW, Khan responded stating:

“That’s interesting. I’m not sure. I like Killer Kross. It’d be interesting, at some point, to talk to him again. It’s been a long time since I talked to Killer Kross. It would be interesting. He did a match with Darby. I like him. That night, I had a lot of things going on, but I actually wanted to go see his match. I didn’t get to see him that night, but that probably would’ve been a great chance to re-connect with him. He’s great. I think he’s tremendous.”

Khan also gave his thoughts about if he was surprised that WWE did not renew Kross’ deal with the company.

“It’s interesting. You never know what’s going on with different wrestlers and different organizations, so I can’t speak to that. I think he is very talented and Darby said he had a great experience with him. It would definitely be worth re-connecting. We get so deep in our foxholes and thinking about the things we’re doing. Sometimes, I get so laser focused on one thing, that I think about those things. At some point, he’s definitely a great name to think about.”
