Updated AEW Continental Classic 2025 Standings & Results

Thursday’s taped AEW Collision Thanksgiving 2025 show featured two Continental Classic League matches, one for Gold League and one for Blue League.

In regards to Gold League, this match was PAC defeating “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

In regards to Blue League, this match was Konosuke Takeshita defeating Roderick Strong.

RUSH Knee Injury Announcement

Thursday’s taped AEW Collision Thanksgiving 2025 show also featured the official announcement of RUSH recently suffered a knee injury and is currently out of action for the foreseeable future.

During the show, it was announced that RUSH had been scheduled to face off against Bandido for the ROH World Championship at ROH Final Battle 2025 but was pulled due to a knee injury he suffered. It was announced that Bandido will now be defending his title in a Survival of the Fittest match against five other opponents at the event.

In a video posted by AEW CEO Tony Khan prior to the start of the show, Khan stated that a decision regarding the situation with the ROH World Tag Team Championship will be made on Friday’s ROH TV show. RUSH is currently one-half ROH World Tag Champions with Sammy Guevara.


Eddie Kingston Challenges Samoa Joe for AEW World Title at AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming 2025

Thursday’s taped AEW Collision Thanksgiving 2025 show also one new potential match for AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming 2025 show, which takes place on December 10th at Gateway Center Arena At College Park in College Park, Georgia.

This new potential match is an AEW World Championship match of Eddie Kingston vs. Samoa Joe (c).

This new potential match was setup following a promo segment by Kingston. Following Kingston’s victory over Katsuyori Shibata in a singles match, Kingston grabbed a microphone and talked about how he has nothing to say about HOOK’s actions of late and he still loves him as a buddy. Kingston continued stating HOOK has chosen his path and he would have to pay for what he did from Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland. After some words about the fans love for him and how he believed for a long time he didn’t deserve that love, Kingston stated that it wasn’t about the fans loving him, it was because he loved the fans because they loved pro wrestling. Kingston then talked about Joe trying to corrupt HOOK and how he wants to put a stop to that. Kingston then challenged Joe for his AEW World title at next month’s AEW Winter Is Coming show.
