Queen Aminata Neck Injury Update
As noted before, Queen Aminata has been out of action for AEW since this past November due to a neck-related injury.
Queen Aminata recently released a new vlog on her official YouTube channel. One of the topics discussed included Aminata providing an update on her recovery from her neck injury and revealed she is already able to get back into the ring for training.
“I was able to get in the ring on Saturday to run the ropes and I amazingly felt pretty good. So, well, pretty good that day. The next day I was sore, I’m like ‘this is painful.’ The ropes are hard, man. When you spend a few weeks without being drained, the ropes are really really hard.”
Aminata also gave her thoughts about how her current neck injury is something she does not want to gamble with in terms of her potentially rushing her recovery for an in-ring return.
“Yeah, my neck isn’t something I’m willing to gamble with, so when I come back, and I’m gonna come back better, stronger, juicier, sexier.”

RJ City AEW Departure Rumor Killer
As noted before, AEW held the final episode of their AEW Hey Ew! digital series earlier this month. The cancelation of this series quickly led to online speculation and rumors afterwards of RJ City’s future with the company and potential departure.
Fightful Select reported that their sources denied rumors of City leaving AEW and instead stated that his contract with AEW is not coming to an end.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that it was known for some time that City’s talk show comedy series would be ending and the comedy sketch about Eddie Kingston’s entrance mocking Triple H being filmed at WrestleDream this past October. It was reported that as many interviews as possible were filmed between then and the time it took to finish editing the final episode of the YouTube show.
City has been with AEW since 2023 and besides his on-screen personality, he also has been working in a backstage role with AEW’s creative team.
