As noted before, Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Tulsa, Oklahoma featured Andrade El Idolo making his surprise return to AEW. Prior to his return, Andrade had been absent from AEW since this past October’s AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary show due to him being under a one-year non-compete clause with WWE over his firing from their company. Andrade’s non-compete clause was legally resolved this past December making him free to work and sign with any company.
Following his surprise appearance on the show, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on Twitter that Andrade has recently signed an official contract for his return to the company.
He’s back, and he’s All Elite!
