Priscilla Kelly Pulls Out of 4/6 IWPA Event in Israel

Priscilla Kelly, former Gigi Dolin in WWE, announced earlier today on Twitter that she has pulled out of her scheduled booking for Israeli Pro Wrestling Association for their Passover Bash 2026 event in Israel.

Kelly was initially announced for the event by IPWA which quickly led to online negative fan backlash directed at her due to the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict issues.

Kelly released an official statement shortly afterwards stating that she had pulled out of the event and her intentions was never to come off as if she was condoning the actions of the Israeli government in any way over the on-going conflict in the area.

“I have made the decision to not travel to Israel for the show that was announced earlier. My intention was never to make a political statement, but to entertain those who were not tied to horrific humanitarian crisis, I do not want to be a part of this any further or give the idea that I condone the actions of the government in any way. I apologize for any harm this may have caused.”

Kevin Blackwood To Retire From His Wrestling Career This February

Indies wrestler Kevin Blackwood announced on Saturday on Twitter that he will be retiring from his pro wrestling career next month due to mental health related reasons.

Blackwood stated that his retirement match will be taking place at Prestige Wrestling’s Roseland XIII event on February 20th in Portland, Oregon.

I’ve dwelled on this thought for months and came to terms with it a few weeks ago, but it’s taken me a while to find the strength to say anything publicly. I’ve told some privately and truthfully it gets easier every time I say it. For the last quarter or more of 2025 and now into the new year my mental health has been in horrible shape. I have good days and bad but the trend is ultimately still downward. For a long time wrestling was one of the things that always picked me up when I felt that way and it sucks to know and say that for a while now it’s been the thing hurting me most. I love wrestling and have for the entirety of my life that I have memory of. I’ve made my contributions to it in small ways and it’s taken me places and introduced me to people I’m forever grateful for. But the more I hang on the worse I believe things will be for me, and I just don’t want that. Prestige Roseland XIII on February 20th will sadly be the last Prestige show and it’s fitting l allow it to be my last match. I have a few bookings I’ve kept until then, including one in Buffalo on January 31st, and then I need to rest. Mentally and emotionally. I wish I could say physically but I know me, I never sit still. Wrestling will continue without me and I am so happy to know all my friends it’s given me will continue to thrive and grow in the sport, and I hope they achieve everything they’ve dreamed of. Wrestling’s incredible and I’ll always love it. I can’t say for sure if this is “goodbye” or “see you later,” but I can say with my whole heart, thank you to everyone who’s been there. 9 years well spent.”

Prior to his announcement, Blackwood had been wrestling since 2016 and worked for notable indies promotions including Game Changer Wrestling and Deadlock Pro Wrestling and made several appearances for AEW, NJPW, and TNA Wrestling.
