NJPW Establishing Management Strategy Headquarters

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced that the company will be establishing a new Management Strategy Headquarters on February 1st. It was also announced that Director Taro Okada will be the head of this new division in the company.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling Co., Ltd. will establish a new “Management Strategy Headquarters” on February 1st in order to strengthen strategic marketing in order to further expand its business.

The head of the division will be Director Taro Okada (President of Stardom Co., Ltd.).

Okada wrote, “I’m sorry for causing you any worry with the Lion Mark announcement! Though it has a grandiose name like Management Strategy Headquarters, it’s a department dedicated to firmly supporting the best New Japan Pro-Wrestling both in the ring and on the front lines. We appreciate your continued support for New Japan Pro-Wrestling!!”


Xelhua vs. Claudio Castagnoli for CMLL World Heavyweight Title Announced for Jan. 30th CMLL Super Viernes Show

CMLL recently announced one new match for the card of this week’s CMLL Super Viernes show on January 30th at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.

This new match announced was a CMLL World Heavyweight Championship match of Xelhua vs. Claudio Castagnoli (c).

This new match was setup following Castagnoli issuing an open challenge for his title and Xelhua answering it.


Killer Kelly TNA Departure Update

As noted before, Killer Kelly confirmed this past Sunday that she had departed from TNA Wrestling following the expiration of her contract with the company at the end of 2025.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that TNA officials had offered Kelly a short-term contract extension for her to potentially stay in the company but she rejected the offer.

It was reported that TNA offering short-term contracts to talents has become the new standard of late in the company.
