Hangman Adam Page & Andrade El Idolo Advances in AEW World Title Contenders Series

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Pearl Theater At Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada featured two matches in the AEW World Championship Contenders Series.

The first match was Hangman Adam Page defeating Mark Davis.

The second match was Andrade El Idolo defeating Kenny Omega.

As a result of their victories, Page will be facing off against Andrade in the Finals of the AEW World Championship Contenders Series at Grand Slam Australia 2026.

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show featured four new matches announced for the card of next week’s Grand Slam Australia 2026 show, which takes place on February 14th at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

The new matches announced were:

  • AEW Continental Championship – Konosuke Takeshita vs. Jon Moxley (c)
  • AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship – MegaBad (Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford) vs. Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron) (c)
  • AEW World Championship Contenders Series Finals match – Hangman Adam Page vs. Andrade El Idolo

This upcoming show will be taped on Wednesday, February 4th at the Pearl Theater At Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada as part of AEW’s Dynamite tapings at the same venue that night.
