Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Andrade El Idolo defeating Kenny Omega in an AEW World Championship Contenders Series match. This match was notable for Swerve Strickland getting involved and accidentally costing Omega the match.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that Omega’s availability for this March’s AEW Revolution 2026 event in Los Angeles, California is currently uncertain due to his scheduled commitments for Capcom that month.
Omega had announced this past September that he will be in Japan as the special guest host for this year’s Capcom Cup tournament that will be taking place from March 11-15 in Tokyo.
Meltzer reported that while Omega is scheduled for fan meet & greet events on March 11-13 for Capcom, it is currently not known if he will be staying in Japan through Saturday, March 14th and Sunday, March 15th, the latter being the same day as AEW’s event.
In regards to travel time, a direct flight from Tokyo to Los Angeles is around ten hours.
