Backstage Update on Working Relationship Between Triller & Indies Companies

As noted before, pro wrestling and sports combat streaming service Triller Group Inc. was officially delisted from NASDAQ at the end of this past December due to financial-related issues.

Fightful Select reported that those spoken to within Game Changer Wrestling stated that they were paid by Triller before the start of the year and that Triller TV’s side of the operations currently appear stable.

It was reported that several indie promotions outside of GCW had believed that Triller’s parent company may have been insolvent and were using revenue generated by Triller TV to cover expenses and payments owed for the rest of the company.

It was also reported that there had been internal belief that part of Triller’s business strategy for some time had been hinged on the possibility of TikTok being banned in the United States, which did not happen in the end.

It was also reported that Triller TV+ is still running as normal as of this week.

That’s right… Ortiz family was all over the Super Bowl! To testing his gags and making everything was safe for him. Then to cap it off, performing next to him with my wife @karate.jewels. It truly was an Benito/Ortiz Bowl hahaha. What an honor, a Boston kid from the hood living his dream and seeing the @patriots play, to showing Martial Arts can take you places and is essential to all types of movement. Hardy stated “Yeah, I mean, I think we’ve just kind of fallen into those roles, and I think we’re cool with it. There’s guys who will ask us, whether they work with us or in a match before, ‘so, hey, did you guys get to see any of my match? Is there anything I can do that would be different or better?’ Or if we’re working with them, ‘oh, what are your critiques? How can I be better? What can I do differently? What can I do to improve?’ It is cool that people look at us to do that, and we do. We really have the best intentions on trying to help and and the better we can build up the entire roster the better it is for the whole show and the whole whole brand.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

It’s not perfected yet, but it will be soon. There’s been so many submissions done with the human body, but it’s something that’s never really been done. So I finally, after all these years, I think I have me a submission that’s going to be a good one.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
