As noted before, “Big” Bronson Reed suffered a biceps tear injury during his Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Triple Threat match against Jey Uso and Original El Grande Americano at Monday’s WWE RAW show in Atlanta, Georgia. Reed was unable to continue the match after receiving medical assistance resulting in Uso picking up the victory over Americano to secure the final spot in this year’s Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
WrestleVotes reported that their sources stated that Reed was originally planned to win the match.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources also confirmed that Reed was planned to win the match prior to his injury. WWE officials reportedly made the decision to have Uso be the new winner after Reed was unable to continue.
It is currently not known how long Reed will be out of action due to his biceps tear injury.
