As noted before, this past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Atlanta, Georgia featured WWE holding several tributes to AJ Styles’ wrestling career that included Styles giving a speech officially confirming his retirement from wrestling and the announcement of Styles being inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame as part of this year’s class. Styles stated in a recent interview with the Talk N Shop podcast that he will still be working with WWE and denied rumors of him potentially joining AEW to wrestle again.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Styles and WWE recently came to terms on a new deal following the end of his in-ring wrestling career.
Johnson reported that Styles will be working in a behind-the-scenes role and it is currently believed he will be helping with the development of talent in the company.
No other details were given regarding what Styles’ exact new role will be in WWE.
