Record Number of Women’s Matches Reportedly Being Planned for WrestleMania 42
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials are currently considering plans for this April’s WrestleMania 42 event to feature the most women’s matches ever for a WrestleMania event in WrestleMania history.
It was reported that WWE creative currently has plans for at least six women’s matches to take place across both nights of WrestleMania 42. It was reported that five of those matches were described to be “pretty firmly planned.”
The current record is held by WrestleMania 36 in 2020 that featured four women’s matches in total across both nights.
WrestleMania 42 currently features two women’s matches confirmed, which are the WWE Women’s World Championship match of Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer (c) and the WWE Women’s Championship match of Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill (c).
RFK Jr. Says WWE Signed His Niece to a Contract
As noted before, Zoe Hines was among the talent invited by WWE to participate in a tryouts during this past August’s SummerSlam 2025 week in New Jersey. Hines is the niece of controversial U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr.
The University of Florida’s College of Medicince held a speaking event earlier today featuring RFK JR. as the guest. One of the topics discussed included RFK Jr. revealing that his niece Hines has recently signed a contract with WWE “to become a wrestler.
RFK Jr.’s announcement was part of his introduction of U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon at the event.
WWE RAW Brand Gets New Lead Writer Following Internal Promotion
Jon Alba reported that WWE senior writer and producer Alexandra Williams was recently promoted to a new vice president role and as the new lead writer of WWE’s RAW brand.
Alba reported that this promotion was first announced by Williams on her LinkedIn account.

Williams has been with WWE since October of 2020, first as a writer & producer for RAW and as senior writer & producer since February of 2024.
