NFL legend and seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady reportedly has been in recent talks with WWE for a potential appearance at this April’s WrestleMania 42 event in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that there were conversations between WWE and Brady’s representatives as recently as last year about him potentially making an appearance at WrestleMania 42 due to it returning to Las Vegas for the second year in a row. Brady is currently a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders who play at the Allegiant Stadium, which is the host venue for this year’s WrestleMania event.
It was also reported that new Brady themed WWE merchandise has been worked on within some WWE departments. This merchandise reportedly features Brady branded logos using the terms “T-Bone” and “The Untouchable Tom Brady.” Brady currently has a merchandising deal with Fanatics, who are also partners with WWE.
It was also reported that any WrestleMania appearance is currently not expected to be anything in-ring related but more of just being the personal appearance variety.
Brady recently was involved in an online feud with Logan Paul and other WWE talents over comments Brady made during an interview with Paul’s Impaulsive podcast this past February. During the interview, Brady stated he loved WWE and called Paul’s work in the company as being “cute.” This led to Paul, CM Punk, Paul Heyman, Liv Morgan responding on social media bashing Brady’s comments and defending WWE.
