As noted before, Steve Maclin was revealed to have been the holder of the Fired briefcase from the Feast or Fired match on the January 22nd episode of TNA Impact! Maclin was later “suspended” by TNA after his assault on TNA commentator Tom Hannifan. Maclin’s suspension was lifted at this past Thursday’s live TNA Impact! show after TNA World Champion Mike Santana had demanded it be done since he wanted payback for Maclin’s recent attacks on him and Hannifan.
TNA announced earlier today that following him being officially reinstated last week, Maclin has signed a new contract to remain in the company for the foreseeable future.
“BREAKING: Following his reinstatement last week, @SteveMaclin
has officially re-signed with TNA. Maclin will challenge TNA World Champion @Santana_Proud on March 27 at #TNASacrifice LIVE on TNA+ from New Orleans.”
