Rezar Comments on “Very Unprofessional” Incident with Wyatt Sicks Member Led to AOP’s WWE Release
A recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show featured former WWE wrestler Rezar, real name Gzim Selmani, as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Rezar’s thoughts about his belief that an incident with the Wyatt Sicks at a house show event may have had something to do with his and fellow Authors of Pain member Akam’s release from WWE in February of 2025.
“There was an incident, very unprofessional from one of those guys, I don’t know their names. I don’t want to go into it too deeply. There was an incident on one of the holiday tours that we did. Somebody tried to switch up the match during the match and that’s just a no go for me, especially if you’ve just been in the company for a little bit and we were already there for a long time. You don’t do that. I just had to let somebody know and that was the end of it.
They tried to switch up the match in the middle of the match. I’m a professional. Even if I have to take a beating in the wrestling ring, I do it, and if you’re going to be a scared little bitch then it’s not my fault. I will let you know backstage.
“It was certain moves that we did. Some of the guys, they didn’t want to take it because we’re big guys. If we lift you up and double spinebuster somebody five days in a row, then the sixth night, somebody can complain, but don’t change it during the match.”
Rezar also gave his thoughts about if the argument backstage was the end of it and if it was a fair thing.
“Yes. It happened. I’m okay with it.”
Rezar did not name who was the Wyatt Sicks member who had tried to change the match.
